Botox Injection

“Botox Injection” or “botox shot” is the term that we used to describe a cosmetic surgery procedure of using Botox into cosmetic surgery treatment. Botox stand for Botulinum Toxin type A. We use it for wrinkles treatment. Botox Injections are widely used to remove facial lines.

Botox Injection treatment is a therapeutic muscle-relaxing agent that works at the nerves that lead to muscles. Botox Injection is a temporary improvement of facial lines. Botox Injection treatments were approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for cosmetic use in April 2002.

BOTOX® injection treatments are successfully used to treat blepharospasm and strabismus, and BOTOX® treatmentsare also proven useful in treating cervical dystonia.

A few hours to a couple of day after the injection, Botox will start to reduce the contraction or the spasms.

When a patient chose Botox injection treatments, a doctor will inject the Botox into the muscles surrounding the eyes to reduce the wrinkles around the area. This will make the muscles at the area become paralyzed and the wrinkles will temporary gone.

Note:

The effect of Botox Treatments are not permanent. Therefore you have to come back to the clinic and get the injection once every 3-8 weeks.

Botox should not be used in any area of the body that has active skin disease or inflammation.

Preparation

Before operation, please inform us if there are any allergies or serious medical conditions. Also please inform us all medication that you are taking.
